What Is Magenta DTF Ink Used For?

Magenta is one of the four primary CMYK process colors used in compatible DTF printing systems. It works with Cyan, Yellow, and Black as part of the printer's color workflow.

The amount of Magenta used in a design depends on the artwork, RIP settings, color profile, printer configuration, and the other inks in the system.

1-Liter Format for DTF Production

The 1-liter bottle provides a single-color ink supply for DTF production environments that manage and replenish individual ink channels separately.

Build Out Your CMYK Ink Setup

Magenta is designed to work as part of a compatible multi-color DTF ink configuration rather than as a standalone printing system. Confirm the ink requirements and channel arrangement of your printer before use.

If you are also replenishing the Cyan channel, see our Premium DTF Ink - Cyan 1 Liter.

Check Compatibility Before Use

DTF printers can use different ink formulations, printheads, circulation systems, and ink-delivery configurations. Confirm that the ink is appropriate for your specific printer and current DTF ink system before adding it.

If you are changing from another ink formulation, follow the printer or ink-system manufacturer's recommended procedure for ink changes, flushing, and maintenance.
