Stepper Motor Belt S2M420-10 is a replacement motion-system component intended for compatible DTF printer assemblies that use this belt specification. It works as part of a belt-and-pulley system used to transfer movement between printer components.

Because printer motion systems can use different belt profiles, widths, lengths, and pulley configurations, confirm that the S2M420-10 specification matches the belt currently installed in your equipment before ordering.

What Does a Stepper Motor Belt Do?

A stepper motor belt transfers mechanical movement from a compatible motor and pulley assembly to another part of the printer’s motion system.

Its exact function depends on the printer design and where the belt is installed. Different printer assemblies may use different belt sizes and configurations, even when the parts appear visually similar.

For Printer Repair and Maintenance

A worn, damaged, or incorrectly fitted belt can require replacement during printer servicing. The replacement belt should match the specification and mechanical layout required by the existing printer assembly.

Check the Complete Motion System

When replacing a belt, compare the existing component and inspect the related pulley and motor arrangement. Belt fit depends on the complete mechanical setup rather than the belt name alone.

If you are also servicing the motor side of the motion system, see our Stepper Motor replacement option.

Check Compatibility Before Ordering

Confirm the belt specification, physical dimensions, tooth profile, pulley fit, mounting arrangement, and printer requirements before installation.

Do not force an incompatible belt onto the pulley system. If you are unsure about fitment, compare the existing part or follow the printer manufacturer’s service documentation.
